Wet Sprinkler Systems
A wet sprinkler system is a sprinkler system that is connected to a water supply through a piping system that employs automatic sprinklers. When a fire has been detected, the rising temperature of the fire opens the sprinkler head, and water immediately begins to disperse.
Wet sprinkler systems are the most common and reliable fire suppression systems, due to their simple structure and low number of components. Because of the relatively straightforward structure of the wet sprinkler system, the probability of malfunctioning is low.
Wet sprinkler system installations are suitable for buildings that are not susceptible to freezing. Certified Red Seal journeymen at Metro Fire Protection Ltd. have the trained skills and abilities to design, install and repair wet sprinkler systems for a variety of industries, including commercial, industrial, government, residential and high-rise projects.
